Within the Boneza Community
To help meet
the medical needs of the Boneza community, our healthcare program provides sustainable and holistic medical care, meets urgent care needs, and provides supplies and medicine. We have offered small, limited medical clinics to Boneza locals for several years with the help of Dr. Simon Rock Nyagasaza and several nurses. These clinics assist locals with medical needs, sometimes referring patients to a larger hospital located in Rwanda’s capitol city, Kigali.

Kivu Hills Medical Center
The Kivu Hills Medical Center (KHMC) is affiliated with our healthcare program and will be offering high quality medical care to the people of Boneza. KHMC is currently under construction and expects to open doors in 2024. A team of leading doctors will oversee daily operations.
This is the first hospital in the region and will serve up to 5 million locals from Western Rwanda and Democratic Republic of The Congo, including the Boneza population of 30,000. Without this hospital, medical opportunities in Boneza are very limited and the care is very poor. KHMC will offer proactive healthcare that will improve the overall wellbeing of the community, along with providing practical healthcare to ease sickness and disease.
Mission:
To provide excellent medical products and services to the people of Boneza.
KHMC is being constructed on 4 acres of land near the Kivu Hills Academy (KHA) campus. Its central location will provide access to millions of people in the surrounding regions.
With the help of locals, construction began on the 50,000 square foot building in October 2021. Doors to the KHMC are expected to open to the public in 2024.

KHMC Wards
It costs $10,000 to construct a complete hospital ward within KHMC. We hope to expand the hospital to include wards for optometry, maternity, pediatrics, general hospitalization, 2 surgery rooms, telemedicine, pharmacy, dentistry and a lab room.
